1. Agreement
By using Foliandra you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Foliandra recognizes text, tables and formulas in PDF and image files with AI engines and shows every result beside its original. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, without notice.
3. Your account
Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
We may restrict new document uploads or new support cases for an account. Existing conversations remain available. Only unclosed cases count toward these limits: one per run, two per document and three per client. Each message is limited to 2,000 characters.
Client accounts with no uploads or processing activity for over a year are archived and hidden from active account lists. Only a new document upload returns an account to active status; existing restrictions still apply.
4. Your documents
You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to their results. You confirm that you have the right to upload them. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service. Documents are deleted automatically, as the Privacy notice describes: keep your own copies.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, try to reach other users' data, disrupt or overload the service, or get around its limits and security.
6. AI results
AI can make mistakes. Foliandra places every result beside its original so you can review it; you are responsible for checking a result before you rely on it.
7. Third-party services
When you choose a cloud engine and confirm the run, your document is sent to that provider, and its own terms apply. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. No warranty
THE SERVICE AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOLIANDRA AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, DOCUMENTS, PROFITS OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ITS RESULTS.
10. Ending use
You may stop using the service and delete your documents at any time. We may end or limit your access at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version at the top shows the date of the current text; using the service after an update means you accept it.
